CATIA (Computer Aided Three dimensional Interactive Application) a multi-platform software used to manage various stages of the product lifecycle. CATIA provides complete solution right from design stage using Computer-Aided Design (CAD), to the manufacturing stage using of Computer-Aided Manufacturing (CAM) and further for analysis using Computer-Aided Engineering (CAE) technology. CATIA V5 is provided on the Microsoft Windows and on UNIX operating systems. CATIA V4 is supported only on UNIX.
