Shashank Patkar
Shashank took over as the CEO of 3D PLM Software Solutions Ltd. – Geometric’s joint
venture with Dassault Systèmes (DS Group-30%, Geometric-70%) in October 2007. Prior
to taking over this position, Shashank was the Vice President, Corporate Strategic
Initiatives. He has been a part of Geometric for the past 20 years and has handled
several key responsibilities in this period, including that of the Chief Financial
Officer.
Shashank began his career at Geometric (the EBE Division of Godrej & Boyce) in 1986,
as part of its first sales team. His initial responsibilities at Geometric included
Sales and Marketing of Geometric's products and services in the global market place.
From 1994 to 2000 he headed Operations and was responsible for setting and shaping
the company's development center in Pune.
In July 2004, Shashank moved to the role of CFO. He helped build Geometric's brand
image with the investor community and displayed a unique combination of business
and financial knowledge. He is also responsible for ERP implementation at Geometric.
Shashank is a Mechanical Engineer and MBA from the University of Mumbai. Shashank
is a past President and active contributor to Software Exporter's Association of
Pune and represents Geometric on various Industries and Government forums in Pune.

Milind Shastri
Milind is the Vice President, Process Engineering at 3DPLM Software Solutions Ltd.
He has more than 20 years of experience and has been part of the Geometric group
of companies since the beginning.
Milind started his career as a software engineer in the EBE R&D division of Godrej
& Boyce and was part of the team that developed a Polyhedral B-rep Solid Modeling
System at Godrej. Later he managed Geometric’s Technologies group for a period of
more than 6 years.
Prior to moving to 3DPLM, Milind was heading Geometric’s Products group. He has
been with 3DPLM Software since its inception in January 2002. He played a seminal
role in setting up the CATIA brand at 3DPLM and managed its activities for over
6 years. Since 2008, Milind is responsible for Process Engineering activities with
a key focus to drive productivity & quality improvement through implementation of
innovative methods and techniques.
Milind has a Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering from IIT, Mumbai. His areas
of specialization include Software Process Engineering, Product Management and Delivery
Management.
Milind enjoys light classical music, trekking, table tennis and cricket. Seeing
an idea being successfully implemented has always motivated Milind.

Vandana Gohain
Vandana Gohain joined 3DPLM as Head of Human Resources in May 2007. She is responsible
for overall Human Resource function which includes Talent Acquisition and Talent
Engagement. Career & Competency Management and Talent Development . She is involved
with Strategic organization development initiatives and growth.
Vandana has over 15 years of experience in Human Resource Function and specifically
in IT and Software R&D organization . Prior to joining 3DPLM, Vandana headed the
Human Resource function at TATA CONSULTANCY SERVICES, Pune branch which involved
3 verticals IT services, Engineering & Industrial Services SBU and Software R&D
(TRDDC). She has a post graduation in personnel management from University of Pune
and Diploma in Labour Laws & Labour Welfare from Symbiosis Institute of Business
Management. She has been trained and certified for various Human Resource quality
assessment programs such Tata Business Excellence Model, ISO and PCMM & CMMI . She
is a member of HR Infotech, Pune chapter.
